The Joyful Vampire Tour of America comes to Aspen for a screening of the independent feature film BITE ME followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers/cast
Bite Me is a subversive romantic comedy about a real-life vampire and the IRS agent who audits her. A unique, while universally relatable story, Bite Me is about outsiders fighting to be seen and will make your heart weep with laughter, ache with longing, and leave the theater fluttering with joy.
This is the second feature film from award-winning filmmaker, and Aspen native turned New Yorker, Naomi McDougall Jones, who wrote, stars in and produced this film – as she did with the 12-time award-winning Imagine I’m Beautiful (2014).
The film stars Christian Coulson (Harry Potter and the Chambers of Secrets, Nashville, Love is Strange), Naomi McDougall Jones (Imagine I’m Beautiful, Boardwalk Empire), Naomi Grossman (American Horror Story), and Annie Golden (Orange is the New Black).
BONUS: Because this screening is part of the 3-month, 30+ city Joyful Vampire Tour of America, this screening will be followed by an official Vampire Ball at a local venue following the screening (TBA). Make sure to purchase the add-on ticket to join for the wild, joyful after-party. Capes are encouraged.
The film runs 83 minutes and will be immediately followed by a Q&A
The Vampire Ball will begin following the Q&A at a nearby venue
