AI is penetrating every corner of medicine. In clinical care, it is being schooled to analyze scans and tissue samples, predict disease risks, help design personalized treatment plans, and even offer mental health support. In research, AI may speed drug discovery and inform clinical trial design. It can also increase operational efficiencies by streamlining scheduling, coding, claims processing, and electronic health record management.
