The Banff Tour shows the best adventure films of the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival, which takes place annually in November in the small town of Banff in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The festival has now been around for over 45 years and has since become a popular meeting place for fans and filmmakers.
But to make sure that outdoor film fans all over the world don’t miss out, a selection of the best films will go on a big world tour after the festival and is making a stop right here in Aspen at the historic Wheeler Opera House!
The films of the Banff Tour 2025 offer fresh perspectives, showing that sometimes it’s more important to set limits for ourselves than to push beyond them.
All films will be screened in their original version with subtitles in the local language. The whole film program usually lasts around 120 minutes. With a 30 minutes break, moderation and competition the whole events takes 2.5-3 hours.
This event is appropriate for children ages 8 and up.
