Wheeler Presents Bandits on the Run

Brooklyn-based trio Bandits on the Run brings their signature blend of indie-folk, theatrical storytelling, and soaring harmonies to the Wheeler. Featuring Adrian Blake Enscoe, Sydney Shepherd, and Regina Strayhorn, the group combines cello, guitar, accordion, and inventive percussion with rich three-part harmonies and rotating lead vocals.
Rising from a serendipitous subway busking session to national attention, the Bandits gained acclaim when NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest named their song “Love in the Underground” a Top Shelf pick, praising their “symphony of sound and story.” Since then, they’ve recorded with Grammy-winning producer Ryan Hadlock (Brandi Carlile, The Lumineers), created original music for Netflix’s Storybots, scored the feature film The Same Storm, and composed for stage productions including Shakespeare’s As You Like It and a forthcoming musical adaptation of What’s Eating Gilbert Grape.
With a global tour history that includes Americanafest, Cambridge Folk Festival, and the F1 Singapore Grand Prix, Bandits on the Run continue to enchant audiences with their boundless creativity and cinematic sound.
