Participants will strengthen technique\, refine performance skills\, and gain cultural context while learning choreography inspired by the production.The workshop will be led by Brenda Flores and Christopher Cortez\, accomplished artists with extensive professional experience in Mexican folklórico and concert dance.Brenda Flores began her professional career as a Mexican folklórico dancer and later toured nationally and internationally with the renowned Ballet Folklórico de México de Amalia Hernández\, including a residency at Mexico City’s Palace of Fine Arts. She also contributed to the creative development of Disney’s Plaza de Coco aboard the Disney Treasure.Christopher Cortez trained at The Alvin Ailey School in New York City and has performed with companies including Calpulli Mexican Dance Company and Ballet Nepantla. His work bridges traditional Mexican dance and contemporary performance.During the final 15 minutes of the class\, participants will share selected choreography with attendees from the Family & All Levels Workshop.

Kaitlin Becker is an actor\, singer\, writer\, and teaching artist best known for portraying Meekah in the internationally popular Blippi franchise. A former host of NBCUniversal’s Sunny Side Up\, Kaitlin has spent her career creating imaginative\, engaging experiences for children and families through theater\, music\, and storytelling. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Northern Kentucky University and has performed in theaters across the country. Through her work as a performer and educator\, she encourages creativity\, self-expression\, and connection through the arts. Following the performance\, enjoy a community trick-or-treat event in the Vault Bar Lobby featuring City of Aspen departments and local community organizations.
